Initially advised on communications surrounding the departure of the eponymous founder. Subsequently retained to advise on marketing, communications and corporate identity.

Initially provided PR advice for three retail transactions – the sales of Maplin Electronics and Paperchase, and the refinancing of Wagamama. Subsequently retained to raise the firm's corporate profile.

Gresham
Ran a highly successful media campaign securing this private equity house a much higher profile. Devised the Gresham Monitor, a biannual survey of mid-market companies, creating new benchmarks to assess the performance of this key sector of the UK economy.

Imperial College
Researched and wrote the material promoting Imperial College’s centenary fund raising campaign.

London Business School
Promoted the launch of an international management programme for senior executives across Europe.

Medical Research Council
Advised on the strategy and implemented an MRC-wide internal communications programme explaining the major transformation the organisation is undergoing.

NatWest Life
Planning permission for NatWest Life's headquarters in Bristol called for the erection of a sculpture for public view. With the Royal Society of British Sculptors, we created a competition for students, launched by the Secretary of State, and turned this challenge into a source of public interest and goodwill. The project reinforced the company’s brand and reputation in the community.

Pearl Assurance
As a fully-integrated part of the in-house team, we successfully completed a major and highly sensitive communications programme for Pearl's staff and 3.3 million customers. We also rewrote and redesigned customer statements and letters which resulted in a Plain English Campaign award.

PricewaterhouseCoopers
Devised an international campaign targeting the 100,000 policyholders of one of the world's largest insurance insolvencies which helped to secure overwhelming support for the rescue scheme. Other assignments included creating an in-house newsletter to improve internal communications for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Business Recovery Services' team.

SG Hambros
Helped with the successful launch of the wealth management group, SG Hambros, following the merger between Société Générale and Hambros. Devised a carefully targeted media campaign to raise the profile of this expanding business.

Tetrapak
Devised a web-based, customer benchmark research study for the business services arm of Tetrapak and trained an internal team to handle the tracking research in-house.

The Chartered Institute of Taxation
Planned a campaign to put the body representing Britain's taxation professionals firmly and permanently in the public arena. Now the Institute is setting the agenda for the radical improvement of taxation legislation.

The Foundation
This management consultancy helps companies like Marks & Spencer and Volkswagen to identify what their customers value and change the organisation to deliver what they promise. The media coverage we achieved has generated new business leads and is establishing the senior partner as an industry commentator.

Westminster Abbey
Advised the Abbey on handling the media when the organist was dismissed.
